I am putting together a machine for video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro & Davinci Resolve. My budget is $ 1400.00. Being that I have never built a computer before, I'm a bit nervous that the parts I am planning to use are not compatible.

Case - Fractal Design Define R5
Processor - Intel i7 5820k 6 Core
Motherboard - ASUS X99-A/USB 3.1 LGA 2011-v3
OS SSD Drive - SAMSUNG 850 EVO M.2 250GB SATA III
RAM - Crucial 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2133 (PC4 17000)
CPU Cooler - CORSAIR Hydro Series H105
PSU - EVGA 750 GQ 210-GQ-0750-V1 80+ GOLD 750W
GPU - AMD FirePro W5100
Networking - Belkin USB Wifi connector

The reason I went for this GPU is because the 10-bit color output is important for my work.
In terms of storage,I will probably end up stacking a whole lot of 4/6 TB drives for storage and 2 SSDs in a Raid configuration for scratch disks. One thing I am worried about is the compatibility of the CPU cooler to the case?

Big thank you in advance, I appreciate all the input and advice.

Solution
You should buy the memory in a 4 stick set to take advantage of the quad channel board.
Your CPU cooler will be the loudest part of the PC.
You can also lower the power supply.
I would look at the EVGA G2 550 or 650. CORSAIR RMx would also be a good choice.

Thanx zerk
I chose the 750 watt because I can see myself adding some mote components as time goes on.
I chose 2 x 8 gb because I thought I will upgrade in a month or 2 by adding another 16 gb. Does that make any sense?
Can anyone recommend a CPU cooler in the same price range that has similar performance with lower noise levels? I saw some posting its quieter with replaced fans. Is it worth the time and money?
