I have a question about the compatibility on the MSI Gaming Laptop, is it possible to replace the MXM card in it (GTX 880M 8GB GDDR5) to something like a 980M?

Yes, it is a possible upgrade. Just make sure the GPU core is in the same place so the cooler will align with it, and reapply thermal paste and seat the cooler correctly. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick reply and sorry for my late one (Not usually on here). I'll look in to the alignment and see if it would be a possible upgrade as I want it to be even faster (not saying it isn't but it's meeting It's limits in a few more modern games).
