Muy buenas..

I have a little doubt, yesterday I bought this graphic card Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1060 6GB OC.

And it turns out that I have a power source of 550w to be more exact the model is TR2 RX-550AL3CC ( TR2 RX-550 ATX 12V 2.3 ) And well this source of power to buy it in 2013 and as I had to bring a PCI Express PCIe of 8 Pin Graphics Card Power .. and I did not get that cable only came the 6 Pin I suppose that in that time even It was not usual to use video cards with 8 Pin ..

Enter the page of Thermaltake and it turns out that I came across this
http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=c_00001556 And sorry for my ignorance I do not understand so that is the function of the red connector! Because there are 3 black and one red 6 pin, red gives you more voltages? what is the difference ?

My question is because there are only 6 pin connectors directly in the power supply and there is not one with 8 .. or only the 8 pin are only output? I'm really confused and I wanted to know if I needed to buy another power source .. or with this power supply will my video card work? I need to buy a 6 pin adapter for 8 pin? And what do I do? Do I connect it directly to the old connector on my 6 pin video card? Or do I need to do something else?

Thank you very much, sorry for the inconvenience, and excuse the bad English I am using a translator.

6 and 8 pin connectors have same voltages, 3 or 4 ground and 3 or 4 +12v leads so it looks like according to that picture that 6+2=8 pin is connected to 6 pin in the PSU. Than there's another one that has only one 6 pin on the side that goes to GPU. All Yellow are +12v so it doesn't matter where they come from. Connectors are hard codded by shape so they can fit in just appropriate places and in right way.

In this case what should I do? Put it directly the 6 pin in a graph of 8 without problems or buy the small transformer 6 pin for 8 pin and connect it? Would it be a problem if I connect only with 6 pins directly? Since the power is the same?
