compatibility question for mobo and ram

Hi

I was looking to upgrade my pc, the county where i live we dont have gskil rgb ram lower than 3000mhz, what i wanted to ask is that if i buy the asus b250f mobo with my gskil ram work fine with it? i dont mind if it runs at slower speeds but i just want rgb in my pc this time 😛

it is indeed a ddr4, so my rams with run at slower speeds? the mobo is asus b250f

It'll run at 2666, but it'll still be faster than ram that's up to 2666.
