Question Compatibility Question

I am having troubles with the SSD I just bought:
Toshiba OCZ RD400 Series Solid State Drive, PCIe NVMe M.2 1TB with MLC Flash (RVD400-M22280-1TB

Here is the laptop that I am installing it into:

It might be possible that this is a faulty SSD, as the products are compatible. Does anyone know why my laptop might not work with this particular hard drive?

It could be because it's a 1TB SSD.

According to the table on the Dell Community support page below, max supported M.2 NVMe SSD capacity is 512 GB:
