Is this ram compatible with gigabyte-ds3 rev 3.3 motherboards? Does it cause any problems? I need your comments...

Of course it will, but why not buy a 680i SLi board instead? P965 is old.

Also, that RAM isnt the best. There is a chance you'll be lucky enough to recieve the Micron D9 version, but I wouldnt risk it.
