Hi,
I know a lot of people have had experience (good or bad) with Ryzen Gen 3xxx on B450 Motherboards

I am going to buy a B450 Mortar MAX and Ryzen 3600 And I know the sweet spot for the CPU is 3600Mhz CL16 RAM.
It seems to me like choosing RAM is a Like playing the Lottery - sure they work out of the box at 2400MHz but if you enable XMP you never know,
But you need to enable XMP or else DDR4 Ram only run at 2400MHZ which is not even close to Ideal for Ryzen 3xxx
I Would like to get either 28GB or 216BG and would like to hear if someone with experience can help guide me on which RAM to get?

Thank you, So i would assume if the Ram have B-die it will work with XMP? I think I will get RAM that suppot up to 3600MHz advetised wiht XMP so i don't have to do overclocking. MSI have a large list of ram that are supported up to 3600MHz for B450 Mortar Max, if they have Samsung B-die i think it will work.

Okay that makes good sense. I have this strange feeling that a B450 Board won't last as long with a Memory module running at 3600Mhz as one running 3200Mhz but if it says it supports it, It probably will :)
