Compatibility: What's fastest memory my computer can run?

I've been having trouble with memory lately and I'd like to upgrade my RAM from the pre-installed 8 GB 1600 MHz card. Realistically, I want 16 GB and as high speed as my computer can manage.

This is basically what I'm running now:

The only change I've made is swapped out the GPU for a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.

From a quick search, I think I'd ideally want to move up to this:

The only thing is I don't know if there would be any compatibility issues.

Sorry if this is an easy/trivial question. I'm very new to making changes to my computer's hardware.

the increased memory speed comes at the cost of higher latency.
the real life difference between DDR3 1600MHz and 2400 is next to none.
You can get an additional 8-16GB kit and ADD it to existing one.
to find out what memory speeds supported, you can go to the BIOS and check what values for RAM speeds available if at all.
Since this PC is based on H77 chipset, I don't expect it to support something beyond 1600.

Thanks for the input; I really appreciate it. I'm a little disappointed, but very glad I asked and I'll proceed according to what you've said here.
