Compatibility with a GTX 1060 VCard

Was wondering if my motherboard can handle a gtx 1060?

This is my cpu:
i7 4790K
ASRock H87M
16gb ram ddr3
450 watts

Was also wondering if I should upgrade my psu?

gtx 1060 supports both legacy bios and uefi
some uefi boards may have issues with nvidia cards when CSM is used, but usualy bios update resolves that

Agreed on the uefi csm part but 4th gen is uefi and 1060 no problems. Could actually go a 1070Ti/1080Ti without bottleneck.

450w for a 1060 will be fine.

450w is ok assuming it is not a poor quality unit.

1. I7 4790k is still quite good for vast majority of new games. You can take GPU without big worries for big bottlenecking.
2. There should be no issues at all from the H87 BIOS side for any new GPU.
3. 450W should be enough for GTX1060 but only if the PSU is a good one.
