Hello everyone,

i am trying to build my first PC and currently figuring out what i would require.
i am planning to go with amd as i have tight budget and i will be using this PC for CAD/CAM mostly and some office work (no gaming :non:)

configuration is as below,

PROCESSER AMD FX 8350 @ 4 GHZ ,8-cores, AM3+
Motherboard Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 Motherboard
RAM Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM (CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10)
GPU ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 Synergy Edition 2 GB DDR3 Graphics Card
SSD Kingston V+200 60 GB SSD Internal Hard Drive (SSD Now V+200)
HDD WD Caviar Blue 500 GB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (WD5000AAKX)
cabinet Corsair 400R Mid Tower Cabinet

i am bit confussed with this doubts.

will this mobo directly work with fx-8350 CPU or bios upgrade must required ? (i doesn't have any extra amd CPU to flash and upgrade bios.)

if the above mobo is not capable to support fx-8350 then can anyone suggest another good cheap mobo?

will i have to purchase cpu fan separately or it will be included in cabinet? (it says 3 fans)

i am living in india and planning to buy from flipkart.com

CPU fan is included with the CPU, not the case.

970 should work with FX out of the box. If not you might want to consider a 990FX board: http://www.flipkart.com/gigabyte-ga-990fxa-ud3-motherboard/p/itmdef8m7gzjggjt?pid=MBDDEF8YXRBBSZP7&ref=98213a90-2c57-4744-8ec3-06ef42c7bda7

Instead of that GTX 630 - you might want to consider a Radeon 7750: http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-ati-hd-7750-1-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmd7th7wdspnbrh?pid=GRCD7TGZBJSTR5YD&ref=b72878d2-5001-48bb-a234-038beefcf03a

Otherwise that looks pretty good.

I know it's a very late reply..Though,it may help people searching answer for the same question. Of course the board will support the 8350. Though,if you need an alternative, I'd suggest the Asus M5A97 R2.0. That's a good one,for overclocking too, if you intend to. And about the GPU,I'd agree with the above suggestion. About the fans, you'll get the CPU fan with your CPU,no worries. Though AMD would be super hot and so,could use an aftermarket cooler if affordable. The 3 fans number comes from the side of case fans. There are 3 case fans included in the case. Case fans are different from CPU fans, remember.
And,looking at your RAM,I wouldn't prefer that in your system. I've read in many forums, and have personal experience with the RAM issue. The full potential of Vengeance can't be made use of by AMD. I suppose that's because of the lesser Memory bandwidth of AMD CPUs than Intel's. In my system, I had WEI rating of 7.3 with 8GB Vengeance. But once I changed to i5,rating became 7.9. That was nothing but a fact many speak about.
