Question Compatibility with the H81M-D2V

Are there any fast SSD's that I can buy which are compatible with the H81M-D2V? If not, how hard is it to replace a motherboard for someone with 0 experience and what motherboard would you recommend to buy.

Max budget is between £250-300 for both the SSD and potential Mobo

You motherboard is compatible with pretty much any SATA III SSD like the Crucial MX500 or Samsung 860 EVO or SanDisk SDSSDA-1T00-G26... just naming a few of the dozens available.
Does your case has internal 2.5" bracket to mount the SSD?
If it does not you could get a mounting bracket or use double sided tape.
