Hi, good evening,.
I am quite new to the Pc world, and i´ve been looking to start a new project. _
I have a really old Pc, from like 10 years ago, that has the next specs:
Mobo: ASRock G41C-GS
CPU: Core 2 Duo E4700
Ram: Right now 2 Gb of DDR3 but it can go up to 8 DDR3, which i plan to do.
1 x Pci E 16 V2.0
450 Wh generic power supply
I was wondering, what type of processors would best fit for this rig,
I´ve looked and found people recommending an Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3ghz 4mb 1333mhz Sla9u 775, as the best upgrade.
Also, huge question.
Can al LGA 775 processors use DDR3 Ram? My mobo accepts it but i was wondering wether there is some CPU limitations when it comes to the type of ram.
Also, i have no clue about GPUs, i know that the PCIe 16 is suitable for many GPUs but really don´t know what would be the best option.
I don´t want to run Doom Eternal 4k 120 fps. But i truly want to know what is the best that can be done with a starting budget of a 100 dollars, and if it can be headed to be a low to middle gaming PC.
Thanks!
