compatibilty processor and RAM speed

hi guys, i have a processor thats support 2400mhz or ram speed, and i have a mobo thats supports 3200 mhz of ram speed , can i buy a 3200 mhz of ram speed?

Bit of a vague description of your components but if they're recent and your mobo support XMP profiles then yes you can use 3200mhz ram alongside a CPU that supports 2400mhz ram. XMP means the ram is effectively overclocked and those overclocks are independent from your CPU speeds. There is still no guarantee you will achieve 3200mhz though as it is still seen as above the supported range.
