How do you know? I now spent 10-15min searching the web, but did not found any information about supporting or not the Logitech F310 gamepad by GTA V on pc.

Its universal. Should work with anything.

I have and had some gamepads, which are universal but some games or applications (emulators) don't accept or find them. So, I would not bet on this. Sometimes it does not work like expected.

I really recommend a default XBox 360 original Microsoft Gamepad. This is well known and accepted by many game creators as default gamepad. Almost any game, which is playable with gamepad, will accept it and preconfigured perfectly. It does not cost much and this is a fundemental equipment for a gamer.

I don't recommend getting a Logitech gamepad if you're using either Windows 8 or Windows 8.1.

I purchased the F710 and had a hell of a time getting it to work on 8.1, and after everything it still only partially worked. Whilst searching, I found a lot of people having similar issues with both the F710 & the F310 on Win8/8.1. If you're using Win7 you should be fine though.

If you're worried about having compatibility issues, I'd really just stick with an Xbox controller (Or Playstation, if you know how to set them up).
