Compatible Corsair H100i fans

I currently have a Corsair H100i with two Corsair Sp120 Quiet Edition fans. The problem is, I can not control their speed. I already searched online, but I have not found a list of compatible fans.

Does anybody know which fans are compatible with the Corsair H100i?

To the best of my knowledge, any PWM fan will work fine - you have the older models of those fans which use a 3-pin connector.

Thanks a lot. I have not realized that there are different fans. I'll look into it and search for a fan that fits my case design (red an black), is quiet and is PWM

If anybody has a suggestion regarding a fan, please let me know

He's using aftermarket fans. The corsair link utility will control PWM fans only.

OP, I'd consider getting the PWM versions of the fans you've got right now; they're good ones.

Thanks a lot, I have not realized they have PWM versions of the SP fan series. The reseller where I got the current Sp120 fans from only has the 4pin version. I'll see where I can get them from, I guess I have to import them - I live in Switzerland (near Germany).

The other thing you can do, which is probably a lot easier, is just buy a cheap fan controller. Plug the fans you've got into that, and you can control their speed manually.

I already have a fan controller for my case fans, but I want to be able to control the fans for the CPU and GPU from my OS, depending on the heat. The only product I could find that can deliver that is the Corsair link cooling node which I could plug into my H100i. But some people in the Corsair forum said that there will be some noise problems (high pitch noise) at low speed with the SP120.

So I think I'll replace my two Sp120 Quiet Edition (no PWM) with 4 Sp120 Quiet Edition PWM

Yes, that's why I'm going to replace my current SP120 with SP120 PWM
And all the case fans are already controlled over my fan controller.

Hi Guys.

Apologies for joining late however I'm having the same problem. I recently bought the two SP120 Quiet Edition PWM fans for my H100i and I am unable to control the fan speed with my Corsair Link software.

So what could be the problem? Are there new version of the PWM fans that work on Corsair link or should mine be working?

That being said, you have the fans plugged into the H100i, not your motherboard, right?

Thanks I managed to sort it out. System just needed a restart. As for MoC, never heard of him and I believe the Avatar belongs to Fallout.
