Depends on the motherboard. Most manufacturers list the CPUs that are compatible with their motherboards out of the box. If using a CPU requires a BIOS update, it will usually tell you that (at worst, it will show you what BIOS version is required to run each CPU, and leave it to you to figure out what the BIOS version is on the motherboard you have).

From personal experience, I know that a motherboard with an older BIOS will not boot with an incompatible CPU in it to allow you to update itself. I actually keep a selection of older CPUs (Celerons, mostly, and the occasional Pentium) so that I don't have to send a motherboard back to the maker to be upgraded.

So im good without bios update to run right away? I will update after i get everything running and working if so
