Question Compatible?...Help

This is my first build. I want to use Ryzen 3 3200G with a cheap B450 chipset board. My choice Gigabyte B450M S2H. Is Gigabyte B450M S2H compatible with Ryzen 3 3200G without BIOS update? . Plz help. I don't want to BIOS update. pcpartpicker not showing Gigabyte B450M S2H in motherboard option.

As far as I'm aware only the MSI 400 series chipsets with the Max suffix are out of the box compatible with Ryzen 3000 series CPUs. You may want to look to those MSI Max motherboards to avoid the hassle.

Gigabyte B450M-S2H CPU Support List

Unless the motherboard comes with the latest BIOS already installed (no way of telling), then no. While the CPU is compatible, it's likely only after a BIOS update. If you're not willing to perform a BIOS update, the best option for you would be the Ryzen 3 2200G which is natively compatible with the initial BIOS.
