Compatible issue with ram?

I have a gigabyte motherbored its the 990fxa-ud3 R5 and i have to xpg adata 8gb ram sticks ddr3 and any time i try to use both my pc will not run but if I use a single one it will run

Modules purchased as singles are not guaranteed to be compatible when combined. If you posted a part number, maybe someone would know what memory you are having a problem with.

AMD FX CPUs support 1866MHz with one DIMM per channel. 2133MHz require an overclocked system.

I could find zero specifications on that memory. I wouldn't know if its plug n play or if it has some conservative SPD (Serial Presence Detect) settings.
