Hello to everybody on this community,
Recently I've been thinking of upgrading the memory of my computer from 4GB to 8GB. The RAM stick I own is this : Kingston KHX1600C9D3B1/4G. I know that if I buy the same stick then 2 x 4GB sticks would make a dual channel right? But if I don't find the exact same module again, how could I find the one that is compatible with my computer?

Thanks in advance! Feel free to ask a question if you don't understand me!

I would advise against mixing two different RAMs. 2x4GB sticks would only make it dual channel if your motherboard supports dual channel. To find out which RAM is compatible, you could use the system scanner on crucial.com. G skills (reputable RAM brand) also have a RAM configurator
