Compatible monitors for radeon hd6670

Hello,
Just completed a new system build witha ASUS Sabertooth 990FX MB and Radeon HD6670 GPU card. My old BenQ LCD monitor is giving a "no signal detected" message. Any one have any ideas as to what could be the problem

Your GPU could be dead. Do you have another one you can use to test?

I would connect the monitor the the motherboard video output and update all drivers for the GPU. If it still doesn't work you may have to consider RMA.
