this machine is a Acer Aspire M3470G-UW10P. I think this might be the motheboard inside of it http://www.ebay.com/itm/Acer-Aspire-M3470G-UW10P-AMD-Motherboard-48-3FU01-0SC-MB-GCR01-001-8551-/281046182833
Here are the parts i mainly want to know of they are compatible with the motherboard
(G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333)
(Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-750 750W psu)
(AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core Desktop Processor)
(SAPPHIRE 100355OCL Radeon HD 7850 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16)

Solution

Yes, both the RAM the PSU are compatible... but 750 watts of power will be overkill.

No, that is a motherboard designed with the FM socket, not the AM3+ socket required to insert the FX-8320.

You could use that RAM on the board and even the video card (if your power supply can support it).

Why this particular motherboard? If you choose to go with the FM2 socket you will inevitably be purchasing one of AMD's APUs, which means that the graphics will be built in.

your right about that im probably going to just stick with the cpu already in there since its a quad-core anyways. i'm on a strict budget thats why im sticking with this mobo its just a pre-built machine im upgrading anyways

If you're looking to upgrade, you'll see a big boost (in graphics at least) from just getting a new discrete (as opposed to on board or APU) graphics card.

You will be better off just purchasing a graphics card as opposed to upgrading the CPU. The 7850 should run fine on most of the FM2s.

That is some great news i just want to confirm that the ram and psu i posted at the start of the thread are for sure compatible with the acer.

thats good news man thank you for the help
