hello,
I'm making my second custom pc. My first one was a disaster and don't want to mess up this time so I am a lot more paranoid on what parts I purchase.
I'm thinking on getting the following:
CPU: Intel i5 7400 or Intel pentium g4560 - $245/75
Motherboard: ASUS Prime B250M Plus - $109
RAM: G.Skill Value F4-2400C15S-8GNT 8GB (1x8) - $115
GPU: GTX 960 4GB Windforce OC - $150
Case: Deepcool Tesseract SW Mid Tower Chassis White - $55
Wireless card: MSI Herald-AC Intel AC 8265 WiFi Card - $55
PSU: Unknown

I do not know what CPU to get for a good price. I do not know if the case is the right size. I do not know if the wireless card is compatible. I do not know if the ram is compatible. I already have the GPU from my past build. I also do not know what PSU to get.

Even though I know quiet a lot about computers, when it comes to purchasing parts, I get paranoid not knowing if these parts will fail to work with each other.

Thank you for any replies!

In australia parts cost a lot. This build with the g4560 only gosts $409 AUD (Not including a PSU and the GPU). Im getting the parts from pccasegear

Recommend 2 x 4 GB of RAM instead of a single stick. Better performance.

PSU:

Amazon no longer imports into australia from what I heard, and last time I tried to buy from amazon well... they wouldn't let me. pccasegear is in australia making it easier to purchase. I also want to only buy from one place, last build I got my parts from eBay and got a faulty cpu TWICE.

$99 for a PSU is a lot, are there any cheaper compatible alternatives.

That is $99 Aus dollars. That is the cheapest good unit that will last for a long time. Never skimp on the PSU.

If you really want to cut corners:

Decent units. But mine crapped out on me within 2 years.
