Complaint about 500R absent openings covers

I propose my letter to corsair and their useless answers.
Which solutions do you suggest considering they are not giving any reliable proposal. I like the case dimension but I'd like to clear the major opening . How did you solve it ? If you did ?

750 is horribly huge (also 500R I expect it was smaller maybe you didn't read the first part)
I don't find correct I have to buy 3rd producers parts on a 130USD case ! Additional 48USD + shipping from US ... remember I am in Italy . On the other side of the world !
I am still not happy. Please talk to your colleagues and bosses and find out an acceptable solution.

We have come across one of your tickets stating that you are not satisfied with the 500R case. We apologize that the case does not fit your requirements. The 500R case is built for high air flow for better cooling performance, thus there are openings at the top, front and from the side panel. Dust is inevitable for a high air flow case. If you are looking for a case that is more enclosed with less openings, the 500R does not fit this requirement. Since we do not make additional dust filters for the 500R case nor special parts that reduces dust, we can direct you to a third party who makes custom filters that will fit the case.
However if you are looking for case with less openings, we can also offer you a different replacement to remedy your dust issue. The 750D case would be our recommendation.

Dear Corsair,
I bought a quite expensive case Carbide 500R black to built up my new desktop.
I bought this case after a careful selection on various workstation assembler websites because of the good inner space for the parts I planned to use.
Unfortunately I had to buy it from E-shops because nobody here around keeps these pieces of equipments in the shop. So I could see the product in the reality but I could see only your official pictures [http://www.corsair.com/en-us/carbide-series-500r-mid-tower-case] which didn't say much !
In fact as soon as I received the case and I started mounting my assembled workstation I realized that the 500R is full of opening to put extra PCI-E cards, liquid cooling system, additional fans and so on.
My room is quite dusty and hairy because of the cat, so that the environment where I work.
Therefore I am here to ask you if you can send me all the special parts that reduce the all the openings of the case not used now.
I remained surprise of the rigid case scheme you sent to me, without the possibility to cover better the opening not use. For example which is the need to put the extra opening on the back of the case where additional cards could be plugged ? Another example: which is the need of not providing a top cap or a cover until I will not decide to install a twin fans liquid cooler system ? I am using an expensive Noctua air fan and I am happy with it ! So why all this dust access without reason ?
I hope that you can reply soon resolving my complaint. I hope you provide me immediately complimentary additional parts to reduce dust access

If you just place the computer off the floor and use the filters, you should be fine I would think. If that isnt acceptable, the only thing I could think of to do is to cover the mesh case openings with plexiglass or something of that nature, and it would be quite a task. You bought the wrong case for your needs without seeing it. Corsair are bending over backwards to accomodate you - what a great company. The fault would appear to be entirely on your side.

As you are unhappy with Corsair's proposed solution you should take the matter up with your retailer - ask for your money back. Buy a different case, doing a little more research this time.

McHenry Corsais is not ok at all !
Their case is correct but why not to produce additional covers,. I didn't see the case for the reasons explained.
Jeremy P is wiser than you ! Jeremy could you see the pplexiglas adjustment ?

I could see covering the vents with plexiglass, or acryllic sheets, but it would be quite labor intensive, not to mention the things you would have to buy to accomplish it. The front panels already have filters, so you wouldnt have to mess with those. The removable top panel vents can be solved by cutting a black piece of cardboard to fit over the holes in the top of the case, underneath the removable piece. For the left side panel, you can do the same thing as the top, and remove the fan and attach a piece of black cardboard inside the panel. Another option would be to purchase an additional right side panel(with no fan holes) and just put it on the left side. It will fit, I just took the right side panel off of my 500r and attached it on the left side.
As for the vents in the back, I would leave them completely alone. With an exhaust fan at the rear of the chassis, you shouldnt have to worry about dust or cat hair getting sucked in.

But, again, I would have to say if you arent happy with the case, find one you like without the vent holes. I know that would mean you would have to eat the shipping costs, but it would be the easiest, and best solution. I'm not sure about the hardware that youve put inside the case, but remember there needs to be air flow to keep everything cool.
