Comple noob. Think I fried GPU. Need help!

I installed a Zotac 1080 Founders Edition into my predator g6 710 and it installed Zotac Firestorm, which I've never used until today. I meant to turn up the the fan speed but accidentally turned up something else on the GPU, I think mhz is what I turned up, like 25% and my PC froze and went black so I panicked and shut it off. When I turned it back on everything was fine except every five seconds or so the screen flashes black for a second, maybe several times in a row then goes normal for like 10 seconds. I uninstalled Firestorm and Nvidia drivers and everything associated with it and the problem stopped. Then once I reinstalled and updated the drivers the flashing has started again. Don't know what to do... Just bought the card and rig 4 months ago...

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs inclusive of your OS. Have you made sure to use DDU to uninstall your GPU drivers?
