Complete upgrade! which of the 2

k so im doing a complete upgrade...i have 2 combos that im not sure with .. i did quite a bit of asking around people always saying to up my monitor but im asking out of these 2 combos here...

#1 - Intel Core i5-760 Lynnfield 2.8GHz
- ASUS P7P55 LX LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard
- Patriot Viper II Sector 5 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory w/ 3DMark Vantage Model
- Thermaltake TR2 W0388RU 600W ATX 12V v2.2 Power Supply

#2 - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz
- MSI NF980-G65 AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a SLI HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
- G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model
- Thermaltake TR2 W0388RU 600W ATX 12V v2.2 Power Supply

#1 is 552.55$ Canadian
#2 is 484.95$ Canadian

my current specs are as follows and i plan to keep whatever i didnt mention in the combo....

Windows 7 ultimate 32-bit(6.1,Build 7600)
Pentium dual-core E5300 @ 2.6ghz
4096mb ram ddr2
GTX 460 768mb
P5QPL-AM motherboard
Bs-450w BFG power supply

and help would be great and if the combo #1 is much better i dont mind spending the extra bit but if there almost identical then ill take the cheaper... cool thanks

I'm not looking up motherboards to debate which is a better board as it won't have much affect on performance. However in most games you'll get very similar performance if not nearly identical between the 2 builds, but the I5 will be the more powerful set up over all. Also if your planning to overclock, the I5 will increase it's performance lead over the Phenom II.
