I have an old Clevo M765S.
It had an HDD with Vista.

I swaped the HDD with an SSD and installed Win10. Laptop works fine.

I tried to connect the old HDD to 4 different laptops and 2 different desktops, externally and internally, so as to format the HDD and use it as second drive in my Clevo M765S for data storage.
None of the above systems were able to recognise it.

So, i opened the Clevo M765S again, and swapped the SSD for the the initial HDD.
Laptop booted properly, as if the change was never made.

How can I format the HDD in laptop which has the Vista OS, without new installation, so that the HDD becomes blank?

PS: Don't know if it's in the right category. If it's not, maybe some Mod please move it to the appropriate one?
