Completing new build

New Build is up and running..
The advice I've received here sure was a great help on the way...Thx! Now all that's left now is a new video card. This is what I have installed so far,and ,yeah sorry, I like AMD....lol
Rosewill Nautilus case
Amd 8350 cpu
cooler master Hyper 212 evo
Ga-970a DS3P fx
GSlill Ripjaws X 16 Gb(2x8)
2x 1tb. HDD's 7200 (no SDD)
EVGA SuperNova 750 B2 80+bronze
Hd 7700 series video card..This is as you can see is my bottleneck....
There are so many choices out there,you guys know alot more than me,can sure use your advice again...I'd like to keep it under 300 if possible Thx. Steve

I wouldn't use the term bottleneck since that is being used very loosely and with context. You can move for an RX5780 but with all due respect the entire platform will need an overhaul sans the GPU suggestion since anything you want the system to churn out above 1080p with higher details settings will demand more from the platform.

I'm assuming you're located in USA and you're talking about 300USD which is only capable of netting you a mid-high end GPU.

If you were looking at an entry level system then you could look towards a brand new build with either Intel's Coffeelake or Ryzen. What sort of games are you looking to tax the system with?

All I can say is don't. Don't buy a new GFX card right now. Have you heard of bitcoin? Of course you have. That is a form of crypto-currency. They were using CPUs, ASICs( application-specific integrated circuit) and then GFX cards. People use GFX cards to mine crypto-currency. That mining can make the person money. That increases the value of the card and it increases the demand. As such the demand is at historically high levels and the supply can't meet that so the price is inflated. The 1060 6GB is within your budget at about $289. However they are selling at around $500 which is normally a price point reserved for the 1080. I'm feeling better and better about purchasing the EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid. I purchased it for $849 and I don't think the price was inflated beyond what it normally is due to its AIO liquid cooling system and its lighting and its custom PCB and.......


The problem I have is that I've not a clue when prices will stabilize again. They were normal for about 3 weeks in December and now they are back up in the stratosphere.

Thx,yes I'm in the USA. This is my first build,still not completely familiar with all the correct lingo that's why I'm here. I know it's all Intel now but I just bought and installed all these components. Not interested in overclocking and could never afford top of the line set ups. Just want a good card for what I have...Thx.

I would say RX580 or a GTX1060 6GB would be a good match, but prices at the moment are ridiculous. Sit tight if you can until prices come down to something more sensible or if you really can't wait the GTX1050Ti might just about do and you should be able to get hold of one at a sensible price.
