So i have a Motorola sb6121. I also have an Tp-link Archer C7. I want to get Ethernet into my room, so i went into my my panel and saw something. A bunch of labeled hanging Ethernet cables hanging there, with one labeled "Living Room". The labeled "Living Room" is plugged into my modem, and my router is in the living room. So i installed a switch, and i got Ethernet in "Bedroom 2", and none to the router. So naturally, i googled it. When I googled it, i was told my configuration won't work. The issue is that i can't move these cables and plug them directly into my router, so i need a solution. Can anyone help? Thank you!

Solution
Easy. Move the router from the living room to the modem location, and plug the modem into the router.

The router probably has multiple ports on it right? So then just plug Living Room and Bedroom into the router! If you still need ports in the Living Room you can put the switch there. If the Router is located in the Living Room for wifi purposes, and the location of the Modem will kill the routers wifi, you could get an access point and put it in the living room.

Modem-> Router -> Various Rooms.

The issue with this setup is that i don't have money for a new access point, but thanks for the tip!
