Im looking into building a new system for gaming over the next few months.

I have built before but that was ages ago and I was a student so my budget was much lower.

I havent yet decided on some of the components and am open to suggestions and advice on all components.

Just really checking for any bottlenecks or stupid mistakes ive made in the components Ive selected so far.

CASE: Undecided

PSU: Coolermaster RealPower 700W Modular PSU - SLI Ready or Antec TruePower Quattro 850W Modular PSU - 2x 8pin PCI-E 2x 6pin PCI-E 4x 12V Rails 80PLUS Energy Efficiency

Depending on if the Coolermaster has enough juice to power 2 9800gx2's

HDD: Undecided

MOB: XFX S775 INTEL 790i ULTRA DDR3 ATX AUDIO LAN 1600FSB
RAM: OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) SLI Kit DDR3, 2000Mhz, PC3-1600 Memory
CPU: Intel Core2 E8400
GPU: XFX 9800gx2 1GB ( sliing once the price drops or I get enough money )

I could also use some input on the monitor.

If I have missed anything else then please make suggestions.

Thanks

A Samsung 22" would be awesome. Anything smaller and you aren't taking advantage of the power of the CPU / GPU combo you are talking about (if you go SLI especially).

Are you going to overclock? What is your budget?

I havent done any overclocking in the past but the 790i motherboard is suppose to make it nice an easy so I will be doing some although not pushing it too high.

My budget is around £1000.

I decided to go ddr3 because otherwise I will end up with a ddr2 motherboard and have to upgrade relatively soon to a ddr3 mobo.
