Component Compatibility Check.

My boss and I are looking at building a hefty computer for him. He already has one, so he'll be taking the graphics card and the second HDD from that, but as a start, we were hoping if these components were compatible:

Intel Core i5 4670K Quad Core,
Corsair 16 GB Vengeance 240-pin DIMM DDR3-RAM 1600 MHz,
Corsair Hydro Series H60 120mm Rad All-In-One Liquid CPU Cooler,
Asus P8Z77-V LX Motherboard (Socket 1155, 32GB DDR3 Support, ATX, Intel Z77 Express, USB 3.0,
TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 N900 Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter,
Crucial CT512M4SSD2 512GB M4 SATA III 6Gb/s MLC 2.5 Inch Internal SSD,
Corsair CX750 Builder Series CX 750W ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze PSU.

We know enough to recognise what components are great or poor, but know virtually nothing about compatibility, so we would really appreciate it if someone knew if any of these were incompatible.

That CPU and motherboard are not compatible. It is a socket 1150 cpu and a socket 1155 motherboard. You want a socket 1150 motherboard.

I'd also recommend rethinking the PSU. Corsair makes GREAT PSUs, but the CX level is an entry level unit. Doesn't quite match up with your top quality other parts.

That's a nice motherboard, love Asus.

The link below is a great breakdown on which PSUs are of what quality. You'll see the corsair CX isn't a TERRIBLE psu, it's just you can get better for around the same price. You don't want any lower than a tier 3 PSU (the CX is a tier 3). Look for an XFX, seasonic, corsair. I'd also recommend modular PSU's. The cable management is SO much easier. Are you shopping only with Amazon uk? If so, I'll poke around a bit and see what I can find in there.

What do you think of this PSU?

It's a drop from 750, but it is in the Tier 2 category.

We're also considering swapping out for micro-ATX motherboard, so I'll be looking to that, if you have any suggestions.
