Ok, about to do my first build, gonna buy the parts in the next day or so. I basically have my mind set on most of these parts, excluding the hard drives and PSU. So just let me know what you all think, and if i should look at changing anything. Thanks!
Windforce GTX 770 4 GB
Intel Core i5-4690
GIGABYTE Z97X-SLI MOBO,
G.SKILL Ripjaws X 8GB MEM
Corsair Obsidian 650D Case
SanDisk Ultra Plus SDSSDHP-128G-G25 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive
Western Digital WD Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Corsair RM Series 650 Watt ATX/EPS 80PLUS Gold-Certified Power Supply
Already have optical drive and Peripherals, so thats about it. Id love some input, as im still a bit new to this haha. Im probably going to stick with the majority of this build, as most of the components seem pretty good and its not going to cost me too much. Just let me know what you think. Thanks

Recommendations:

The 4GB GTX 770 is a waste of 50$. The 2GB version is equally fast in all scenarios.
CPU is good, but if you are overclocking make sure to get the K version and a aftermarket heatsink.
This is more motherboard than you need for a single GPU system. If you are planning to SLI later, you need to buy a bigger PSU (850w xfx or seasonic or similar)
The 650D looks awesome - I went with the 450D which reportedly runs cooler, costs less, and mounts SSD behind motherboard tray with excellent dust filters and cable management.

Everything else looks good, but I would take Blackbird's input and get a good PSU.

Any suggestions for a better PSU? I dont know a whole lot about it, but if you have any ideas that would be great.

Will do, ill look into the motherboard and GPU. The only reason i picked that particular motherboard was because it was part of a combo on newegg. Pretty sure its like 30 bucks off for the ram, mobo, and cpu. I dont plan on overclocking anytime in the near future, so im not gonna get the k series or heatsink, although i did look into it. Does it make that much of a difference performance wise?

If you are not overclocking, I would get something like this:

Thats a non overclocking motherboard, processor, and 8 gb of DDR3.

Yes overclocking makes the CPU marginally faster, but any current quad core i5 CPU can make a good gaming rig.
