Hi, I'm building a PC for a friend and would appreciate if someone could review my components and see if anything is wrong or isn't compatible. I'm not 100% sure yet so I'm here to ask someone to see if it is a good build. Specs are below

Welcome to the forums!

The components themselves are fine, just some additional notes/queries:
  • Why that CPU in particular?
  • What is the usage of the PC?
  • The PSU is almost twice as much as you need. No need to spend that much and still maintain excellent quality.
  • Windows can be left unactivated to save $110, there is no detriment outside of the watermark on the desktop and some basic customisation.

I agree with the above. It would be nice to know the purpose of this build to see if it's suited for its usage.

As for Windows, if the watermark really bothers you. Ebay has good options for 10$.

I also agree that the PSU is overkill. 650w shpuld suffice. 750w is already more than enough.

Don't forget to account for case + case fans.

A bit outdated components I'm afraid, you should get a 5700XT, you have the Red Dragon 5700 XT that's cheaper and faster than the 2060 S.
Also doesn't make sense to have such PSU...

Why would you list a MX500 SATA 3 m.2 drive and not a faster NVME, that's actually cheaper too?
