Components alongside a 560 Ti?

I'm looking at building a PC using a 560 Ti; I was wondering what the minimum spec of the other components would need to be in order to prevent bottle-necking? This build is just for mid-range gaming and, I am not looking to SLI in the future.

A Mobo is relevant to gaming in many different situations. Get a mother board like a Z68 if you plan to do any upgrades in the future. I'd also go for a 650w PSU if you plan to overclock at all. And if you plan on overclocking perhaps an i5 2500k?

If not then a simple build like PoplicoMan's would be fine. Pick a case to your liking as well as a HDD.

Yes, the above would work really well and you would be able to max out any game 1080p 30+ fps that is out today until probably a couple of years from now. If you were going to have this a longer time and want it to be more future proof however, I would go with the i5 2500k as you can overclock it and get a couple more years out of it. However the i5 2400 is very well and very close performance wise to the i5 2400, the 2400 just can't overclock much. Here's the run down:

i5 2400 with a h67 motherboard, or the i5 2500k with an p67/z68 mobo. These two processors are insanely good and I recommend both, the 2500k will just last longer is the difference.

8 or 4 gigs of RAM.. It really is up to you, no game today uses more than 4 gigs, but it is best to be future proof.

DvD burner doesn't really matter

At least 550w PSU, what the guy said above is good.

The rest like he said doesn't matter.

Thanks for all the help, suggestions for motherboards, cases, psu? I'm in the UK, anyone know of a good components store which stocks a lot of these suggestions?

Appreciate all the help. :)

A Z68 Mobo would work wonders. Cases are really to your tase, and at least a 550w PSU.
