Components compatibility for new build

Hello@all,

I was wondering if these components would work well together?
Is it better a 2x8gb or a 4x4gb for the RAM? Any help will be very appreciated.

ASUS X79 DELUXE
CPU INTEL CORE I7 4930K 3.4G 12M R
2x8G CORSAIR CMY16GX3M2A1866C9B

The System supports quad channel ram so it is actually better on that system to go with 4x4GB

Id look Asus PRO mobo or Gigabyte UP4.

If you do not need 8 memory slots then look Gigabyte UD3 or asrock Extreme.
But then if this is just for gaming go with 1150 build with 4770k or 4670k.
