Components for an Intel i7-860

Hello,
Which motherboard (USB 3.0) and video card (direct-11 compatible) suits best an Intel i7-860 CPU?
I read somewhere that 9GB of DDR3 dual channel memory, instead of 8GB, would be more appropiate, can anyone help me with suggestions?

Before the ram and GPU questions can be answered, what are you using this rig for? And no matter what the answer is, 9gb or ram is not the way to go.

More details on the RAM:
The i3s, i5s, and i7s below the 900-series use dual-channel memory. It's best to get an even number of matching DIMMs: 2, 4, 6, or 8 sticks of memory.
The i7 920 and up on X58 use triple channel memory, or multiples of 3 matched sticks of RAM. You probably saw something about the 900-series that suggested 9GB.

The others beat me to it. Things are a little mixed up. That is easy to do.

I just happen to have an Intel Core i7 860 system which is based on Intel's LGA 1156 cpu socket. The 860 systems use DDR3 dual channel memory. The Intel Core i7 920 is based on Intel's LGA 1336 cpu socket and uses DDR3 triple channel memory. The dual channel and triple channel memory modules are not interchangeable.

The Intel Core i7 860 was designed for mainstream professional applications such as video processing, graphics design, and scientific work. That's where the 860 has a slight edge. If you are an avid gamer, then I suggest you consider an Intel Core i7 920 system. The 920 is better suited for gaming.

Thanks to all for ansewring. I will be using the i7-860 mainly for for graphics, video, and some scientific processing. I am already set on LGA1156 socket, quad core, hyperthreading, Dual Channel DDR3, USB 3/0, and the chipset P55.
I have began looking at motherboards from ASUS (P7P55D-E Deluxe, Evo, Pro, LX) and Gigabyte (P55A-UD7) that have the USB 3.0 specification, but I began to realize that I have too many doubts and that I better consult with people that know the technical stuff.

The i7-860 is just fine for gaming becuse of the Turbo-boost! also The Graphics Card is what makes or breaks Gaming and Video
