Should the wait for Ryzen 4000 desktop and nvidia 3000 series be worth the wait and bang for the buck or the upgrade to nvidia 2000 series and ryzen 3000 is good enough?
Won't upgrade for a decade.
Previous build was a 2nd gen intel, nvidia 1060,corsair HX750W, corsair vengeance 8GB ddr3 and a Chinese mobo that supports this socket. Old ASUS Z68 vpro gave too many issues , had to discard it and an Asus ML38H monitor with 3 dead pixels I dealt with over the years.
Usage is Gaming at 1080p, running programming code chunks, occasional Photoshop .
