One addition...
Record and include a picture of the exact serial number of the part you're selling.

You may get a scammer than demands a refund for a broken part, and sends you back a broken one of the same model, but not the actual one you sold him.

You're out the part and the money. He gets a perfectly working part for free.
 


Sadly most of the serial numbers on electronic parts are on stickers and not printed on the PCB. so this wont work much. The best thing to do is to make a small movie showing you sending it not broken .
 
If you include Craigslist and not https://www.reddit.com/r/hardwareswap/ or Facebook Marketplace then your not very current on trading at all. eBay as a seller is somewhere I avoid and Craigslist is great for finding people that want to scam you with fake cashier checks. Not including Classifieds also makes me wonder if the Author even dabbles in the used market at all.
