So I saw a few post about compressing your OS drive option on disk clean up. A lot of people were saying it wasn't worth it since it effects performance. But when people were asking, it was like 10-15 gigs, when i look at my Compress Os option it says i can save up to 101 gigs. Would it be worth doing in this scenario?

well each time u want to use something in that compressed drive you are gonna have to uncompress it which can take a while. it wouldnt necessarily affect fps in games or web browsing but it will affect the speed at which your computer would boot (if its a primary drive) and it would affect loading speed for everything on the drive pretty significantly. definitely dont compress your primary drive but if ur willing to wait for ur system to uncompress everything then u should compress.

ah, i more want it for the space, having only 450 gigs isn't that much when like 6 games take up 350 lol. But I also have a 250 SSD harddrive connected via usb converter, that im not sure if i am able to like partition somethings onto that

^ This. Drives today, even SSDs, are cheap enough and large enough to not require compression. And it could affect framerate in open world games where textures and map data are pulled from the drive on the fly.

So i guess, secondary question, can i use the SSD attached via usb as a second harddrive, or would i need to do something else. its technically the old HD to my old pc, so it has some of those window files/pics on it
