Was cleaning out my case today with compressed air in preparation for some new hardware upgrades, when a gust of liquid sprayed out into the heatsink of my GPU. I had gone just a little too far with my angle of approach and quickly stopped what I was doing. The card made a fairly obvious crackling noise, but due to my relative position to the case, I'd venture to say it could have just been the force of the compressed air turning the fan. The computer was turned off and the system was completely detached from the psu.
A lot of similar posts seem to suggest that the liquid gas will disperse after a few seconds/minutes at which point everything will return back to normal. It's now been 2-3 hours since the initial accident, am I likely safe to try and boot the system?
