Hello,
I'm studying to take the A+ certification test and the practice tests I'm taking have these questions that tell you to "choose all that apply". They're really annoying and I was wondering do these questions come up a lot on the test? Also if you have any insiteto the test or resources that would best prepare me for it I would really appreciate it!!

Yes, they do come up somewhat often. The key is to just know the general truth of each fact.

I find Mike Myer's (not the actor or fictional character) books to be worth going through. Though any A+ study materials will do. Take notes on anything you didn't already know and review them after a day or two later to see what you remember. If your notes don't give you enough to go on, find it in the source material and make better notes. This reinforces understanding.

Cramming is not great here, because you will think you know something, but then not be able to recall it on the test. I call it the too easy effect. You see a question, know the answer, and move on to the next without absorbing it.

Current CompTia tests also have some 'hands on' sections that surprised me. (I recently re-certified, though I have the older non-expiring ones)

Fixing a WiFi configuration in a router (good resource, play with your own router's settings)
Configuring email on a mobile device (Make sure you read up on POP3 and SMTP protocol settings, maybe join an old style email system like a Squirrelmail server)
