Compudyne 3SXL/25 Laptop Won't Boot

Ok, so I have the computer mentioned in the name, and whenever I start it up it say

Diskette Drive B Failure

then it goes on to tell me that I need to run the setup program.
I have the MSDOS 5 Diskettes and most of the system diskettes, if not all.

I know this is OLD stuff, but I was hoping someone could tell me how to fix it or point me to an ACTIVE old computers forum where they would know better.

It might mean you need to go into the BIOS and make sure the hardware is set up properly.

Ok, how would I go about doing that?

It does say I should run setup, but I have tried setting it to defaults and it doesn't seem to work. Do I need to reinstall DOS maybe?

Reinstalling DOS will not fix your B drive. Your B drive needs to be set up in the BIOS properly before you can use it.
