Alright, I finally bought a Compunurse. It's a pretty nifty thing...well worth it.

Anyway, I have a Socket A motherboard, and I'm using a T-Bird 850. I can't really find a review on the internet how they might've set one up in detail. I don't know how to get it to stick on the CPU as close to the core as possible. Right now, I have a whole bunch of electric tape on the outside of the heatsink holding the cord so that it doesn't wiggle around or anything. The probe is as far as it can go in. (I'm using a Swiftech MC370-0A, btw)

Can anyone tell me how to set it up so it can be as accurate as possible?

Thanks...'preciate it...

I think I inserted mine at the top of the cpu to the right of the L1-L4 bridges to rest just against the die.

Looks equally good to head in from the other side although on my board I was running on/near the chipset fan that way.

So you didn't use anything else, such as tape? I tend to open up my computer from time to time just to check everything out. Plus, I just like everything to be secure.

Did you also mod one of your 5 1/2" drive plates so you can mount the LCD? I stuck my cord through a back opening because I don't have any tools (and money for that matter) to cut with. The cord runs out the back, across the side, and I taped the LCD at the top of my Mid-Tower. It's so cheezy... 😱

Oh - I don't use it full-time, just to calibrate MBM.

I run a copper shim on my cpu, and you cannot run a sensor and a copper shim at the same time...
