Typically while i am playing video games, my mouse, keyboard, monitor, and my headset will randomly shut off. I have tried unplugging and plugging back in my devices but they still won't work. I have to unplug my computer in order for it to work again. I have had similar problems with the internet device connected to the computer. Occasionally, the USB ports that are close to my "antenna" are shut off and i have to wait for them to turn back on in about 15 minutes or restart the computer itself. This also happens with other USB ports on the computer, as well as the ones i have inside the computer. The same problem exists when i connect a wireless extender directly to the system. My assumption is that it has something to do with the motherboard, but my computer says (when I have to restart it or it crashes) that my computer is not getting enough power. I got this power supply a year ago and there hasn't been any problems except this since. In addition, my hard drive is almost constantly working at 100%.

Virus maybe. I say that because you say your HD is at a 100% which it shouldn't be. Could be the motherboard as you say and that was my first thought. What about cooling? What case? That is a hot cpu and gpu and I am sure the northbridge/southbridge is running hot when loaded. What sort of temps are you getting? Maybe something is overheating...

Your HDD activity sounds like you have too much running in the background. Below are two links discussing how to fix that issue.

If you have access to another PSU then try swapping for a few days to see if the error goes away. Even though fairly new you could still have a rail going bad. Go to the gigabyte site and d/l and install all updated drivers for BIOs, chipset, graphics, LAN, and USB drivers.

I have a water cooling set up for the cpu so it never gets too far above room temperature. As for the gpu, there have been no problems with heat since i got it. The temps i am getting is just a little bit over room temperature. This happens at the most random times like when i'm just on the internet, but is most likely to happen when I am playing a game.
