Computer acting abnormally(FPS related)

Hi all,
I jusy re setup my computer after moving from Illinois. It started out running fine and then all of a sudden all my games have sharp drops in FPS, accompanied by low GPU usage. This is prevalent in all my games. BF4,Farcry4, Verdun and arkham knight.
I have reinstalled windows as well as all my drivers.
This is my current system specs:
i5 4690K I do not overclock anything tough
gtx 970 gigabyte g1 gaming
128gb ssd Samsung evo 550
1tb hdd
EVGA supernova 650 GS
8gb RAM ripjaw 1866
Please help me guys.

Try updating the drivers and upgrade to Windows 10. It significantly give a power boost.

I updated all the drivers again. Still same problem. Was using windows 7 when it ran well now its just suddenly acting weird. This system is like 7 months old as well.

I have never over clocked cpu or gpu.
