Computer appears to be working; Monitor receives no signal.

Hi.

This is my first time building a PC and so far it isn't going well. When I first put it all together the screen would not receive a signal even though the fans worked and the motherboard was receiving power, checking MemOk! was also fine.
I took it apart and found that some CPU pins had bent. I went about the laborious process of unbending them using a needle and magnifying glass. After I finished the CPU looked fine and fit perfectly into the sockets on the motherboard. I then put the heat sink back on the CPU but didn't bother putting the fan on as I was only going to turn it on for a small amount of time, assuming it would be fine. It wasn't. The computer turned on and got to the BIOS stage for about a minute then switched off. Not realising it was probably due to overheating I turned it back on, again it stayed on for a bit then turned off. After that it wouldn't turn back on, obviously the heat sink and CPU were very hot.
Assuming it had overheated I bought a new CPU, same type, and tried again. The computer would still not turn on. I got a small amount of coolant gel on the CPU but brushed it off with a very small amount of acetone, however I also got some coolant in the motherboard sockets, which I used a needle to get rid off most of it and then a brush for the rest, I doubt I has worked though. The sockets look fine. The motherboard LED’s work as do the fans so it seems to be fine otherwise. Even when it has worked I've never heard any beeping. I have taken it apart numerous times and believe to have everything in the correct place.

Thank you for any help. :)

The monitor is not showing anything at all.

Okay, do you have your cable plugged into the motherboard, or the graphics card. If its plugged into the monitor and you are not using integrated graphics, it will not display anything.

I have it plugged into the graphics card, I can't see where it would plug into the motherboard.
Also what is this integrated graphics you mentioned? As I say I'm very new to this.

Integrated graphics is essentially a graphics card build into the CPU. This is more common in laptops to keep it compact, but some PC's do use it if they are not going to do anything graphics intensive. The problem you are having is very odd so I want to make sure you have tried both of these:
Plugging the monitor into another device to see if the monitor is at fault.
Plugging the computer into another display to see if the computer is at fault.

Also would it be possible to upload a picture of you build and how it is set up?

I've used two different monitors to test my computer that don't receive a signal, yet do when used with my laptop.

Here are a few pictures of my build:

I am definitely not a CPU expert in the slightest, but in the first picture I saw that there may be something for someone with CPU experience to look at. I really don't know what the problem could be, but maybe post it under the CPU forums, as it does not look like a monitor problem.

Sorry I couldn't help!

That's fine you've been a great help! :)
What exactly did you see so I can get a clearer idea?
Thanks again.
