I have recently bout a TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 Dual Band Wireless card to add into my desktop as well as an Asus RT-N66U since I cant run an ethernet cord and the 2.4ghz band is being overloaded by nearby apartments. I thought that the 5 ghz would help with this since none of the other apartments have a 5ghz band running. Although the new router did help a little bit, I am going to be using my desktop to stream games to and from using steam streaming and xbox streaming and I will need the 5 ghz for this.
Problem:
When I try to connect to the 5 ghz network I get an error but I can connect to the 2.4 ghz frequency without a problem. I have checked to make sure that the password is the same on both networks and that the password I am inputting is correct. Any suggestions on this subject would be very appreciated.
