Hello. My computer, most likely my motherboard is beeping and it only beeps when over 81 degrees celcius. The graphics card I have is a GTX 760 and the motherboard/CPU I have is DX38BT/Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550. The beeps are not found on the motherboard manuals and the computer beeps several times. I only have a temporary solution where I have to put the card's fan speed up to 100% which is loud. On auto it's at 70% which beeps since it goes over 80 degrees. The power supply I have is a 700 watt GameXstream OCZ PSU. The card is connected with a 6 pin and 6+2 pin, no molex, straight from the PSU. Although, I had to hook up PCI-e 1 to 6 pin and PCI-e 2 comes with extra 2 pins which fit in the 8 pin. I don't know if theres a problem there, but just letting you guys know. CPU temp is around 70 degrees Celsius so not a problem there. Thanks

mb is not beeping for a hot gpu it beeping becuase the cpu is in the red zone temp area. cpu should at max be hitting 60c if it hitting 70c your thermal paste or the cooler may not be on right. If i was you i pick up some new thermal paste or a better cooler and redo your cpu before you fry it.

So it's not a GPU temp problem? The GPU hits 80 degrees while the cpu hits 80 degrees as well, on average 75 degrees. I just tested with furmark and when gpu hit 80, the computer beeped while the cpu only went up to 65.

Never mind, problem solved. The computer beeping was the CPU since it hits 75 degrees. I have to try to re-seat the cooler and change the thermal paste and actually secure it to the motherboard since 2 screws weren't going down properly so yea.
