Hello,
So I've had my computer for some time now and all of a sudden when I boot it up, it takes a long time, not only that, sometimes it doesn't boot at all and I have to turn it off and purge the power before it really turns on. On top of that, I recently purchased a cudy AX 3000 that goes directly into my PCIE slot, and that doesn't always load up (in the sense that it can't find any networks), and again I have to restart to make it work.

Some additional information:
I did have auto-defrag on for some time without realizing, so my SSD was being defragged weekly, I have turned it off.
I have maleware bytes, and run it almost weekly.
Just downloaded cc-cleaner to clean up some extra files.
Only 3 programs enabled on startup.
and for some reason every time I load up, Microsoft office opens too even though I don't have it downloaded

Here's my specs:
GPU: 1080 TI
CPU i7 7700k
RAM: 16gb vengance
HDD: 2TB currently have 800gb free
SSD: 500gb (where the drive is loaded on) 120gb free
PSU: EVGA 850 GQ gold (
210-GQ-0850-V1)

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

did the boot problem start same time as you got WIFI card that doesn't always work? Do you get the boot problem if WIFI card isn't attached?

Defrag in win 10 is intelligent enough to not actually run Defrag process on a SSD, it will have been running TRIM

What part of office? how can it load if you don't have it installed?

I think we need to focus on the startup problem first before trying to solve the office problem :D

In my experience when getting this problem it shouldn't be a startup software issue. Like colif said, it could be a issue with your WIFI card. But it would be weird if it hangs on that.

When you try to boot, does it hang on the windows logo, The motherboards bios logo or a black screen/ something else?

I only get the bios logo, than it goes dark.

As well, I just changed my settings for my wifi card to deny windows from disabling it to save power, so I'll see if that fixes it.
^ This didn't work.

I'm not sure, like Microsoft edge, I can't seem to delete it, not matter how hard I try..

Also forgot to mention, all my drivers are up to date.
