Computer Boots, Display Doesn't

I began this crusade by doing a lot of research in to how to fix it, but now I need some insight because normal internet roads have failed me. I am stuck. I took my desktop to a friends house as I was there for a week. While there I used his screen instead of mine. I arrive back home, plug in my computer, and it boots fine everything sounds good, there was no beeping, clicking, or anything, but the computer screen does not turn on. was it the change in resolution when I used his monitor? It doesn't seem to be a bad start up as I have done a hard restart and multiple complete excess energy drains. The monitor appears to be in working condition also. Any ideas?

This happened to me too. What fixed it was taking out my CPU, RAM and GPU and putting it back in.
