Hello. I just tried to upgrade from an AMD 5 2600 to an AMD 5 5600g and my computer will not start up.
It is a cyber power prebuilt pc with an ASRock B450M Gaming motherboard. I already took out the CMOS battery and waited 5 minutes before rebooting it and still nothing.
I reinstalled my AMD 5 2600 to update my bios manually with the quick flash to v.150
http://www.cyberpowerinc.com/drivers/?dir=Motherboards/BIOS/Asrock
I then reinstalled the AMD 5 5600g and still no luck.
Please help.

If needed, my GPU is a Radeon RX 580 Series

after flashing your bios, make sur to restore it to the defaults settings. (by removing the battery, or chose "optimized defaults"in the bios menu)

also, check in the asrock website if your motherboard supports this CPU, and if so wich bios. (you may have to use a beta bios or something)

i can't find the B450M Gaming
it's either B450M OR B450 Gaming

anyways here is the site so you can check. clic on your motherboard and read the CPU compatibility list. if there is any asterisks make sure to read the fine print.

I was also trying to find what a B450M Gaming was but it's a cyber power-only motherboard. The link I posted in the original post is the bios update for that certain MB.
This next link is another thread of other people also confused and trying to find similarities in other ASRock MB but no luck. https://linustechtips.com/topic/1325136-cant-find-any-information-about-motherboard/
I'm guessing this MB is specifically made for CyberPower.
But, I did restore it to the default settings just now.

Could you help me locate the iGPU?
It's built into the 5600G, which can be utilized by plugging your monitor into the display output of your motherboard,.. unless your motherboard does not have a display output (some simply do not).

Since your motherboard is a Cyber Power PC only motherboard, you may be out of luck if it does not support that CPU. I would reach out to Cyber Power PC for support.
